BTEC – How Do I Apply?

Applying for your place on our BTEC Academy is quick and easy – with a whole host of support at every step.

The first step is to come along to one of the Macclesfield College Open Events, where you can speak to our coaches and also Macclesfield College tutors.

They will make sure that you find the best course for you.

Upcoming events will be held on –

January 26th-5pm – 7pm

March 30th – 5pm – 7pm

June 17th – 10am – 1pm

You will then apply for your course using Macclesfield College’s online portal – making sure that you complete all the relevant information.

Further to this, you will then be invited for an informal interview at the College and a trial at Macclesfield FC.

Our trial dates are –

15th December

26th January

23rd February

30th March

27th April

25th May

29th June

All of these will be held between 8pm – 10pm.

When all of this is completed, you will be invited to a New Student Event on 3rd July 2023. You will enjoy a taster of what it is like to study at Macclesfield College – as well as making new friends.

Formal enrolment starts on GCSE Results Day – beforehand, all the information that you need will be provided to you.

Then, all you have to do is sit back, relax and look forward to what will undoubtedly be an incredible experience!
