The Silkmen secured another emphatic home victory last night, as they struck five times against Kidsgrove without reply.

James Berry opened the scoring in the 39th minute with a mesmerising solo strike, before Joe Bunney scored his second goal in as many matches three minutes after the interval.

Neil Kengni then added a magnificent third goal just before the hour mark and shortly after, Tom Clare slammed the ball home to make it four.

With just seconds left on the clock, Neil Danns then added a late fifth and in doing so, scored Macclesfield FC’s 150th competitive goal.
