Macclesfield FC are delighted to announce that midfielder Basit Yusuff has agreed terms to join our First Team setup.

Basit has seen a large involvement in the world of football in Macclesfield having come through our BTEC Programme before joining our International Academy in conjunction with the University of Central Lancashire.

A skilful midfielder by trade, Basit has impressed the First Team Coaching Staff during Pre Season earning a chance to represent our First Team in a permanent capacity.

The young midfielder has featured largely for our U23s and Reserves sides which has seen him stand up and catch the attention of our Head Coach Robbie Savage.

Yusuff’s journey throughout our different programmes highlights the amazing pathway that we as a Club are able to provide for young up and-coming talent.

Everyone associated with Macclesfield Football Club would like to wish Basit every success on his First Team journey.
