MATCH PREVIEW: MOSSLEY V MACCLESFIELD

The Silkmen will be looking to extend their perfect start to the 2022/23 season, as we make the journey over to Mossley for an Emirates FA Cup Preliminary Round tie this afternoon.

With three wins out of three in all competitions, Danny Whitaker’s side have certainly hit the ground running and will be looking to secure their spot in the next round of the Emirates FA Cup against a Mossley side who have made an equally impressive start.

Our hosts started their campaign with an inspiring 1 – 0 away victory against Workington, before defeating Runcorn Linnets by the same score last Tuesday evening.

It has all the makings of an epic Emirates FA Cup clash, as The Silkmen look to progress to the Qualifying Rounds for the first time as Macclesfield FC>

Zeki Fryers is back in contention following injury, whilst Neil Danns remains on the treatment table following a knock picked up on the opening day of the season.

Jacob Hanson faces a race against time to be ready for the game, whilst Mark Duffy looks to shake off a calf strain.

CAR PARKING

There is a small car park at the ground with limited spaces – so fans are advised to arrive early.

A larger car park can be found near the bus station and there is plenty of street parking available.

Supporters are asked to park courteously at all times.

BAR / REFRESHMENT FACILITIES

Kiosks will be open inside the ground – serving a variety of hot and cold snacks.

Due to the game being non-segregated, Silkmen supporters will be able to access all the kiosks and toilet facilities within the ground.
