MATCH PREVIEW: MACCLESFIELD V SKELMERSDALE UNITED

02 May 2022 | Match Preview

The Silkmen are back in action this afternoon, as we welcome Skelmersdale United to the Leasing.com Stadium for our Macron Cup quarter-final tie.

With Charnock Richard awaiting in the semi-final, both teams will be looking to end the season on a high.

Skelmersdale secured promotion from the North West Counties Football League Premier Division last Saturday, with an emphatic 5 – 1 victory against Cinderford Town. They will no doubt be buoyed be the result and therefore will pose an even greater threat to Danny Whitaker’s side.

TEAM NEWS

Danny Whitaker is set to shuffle the pack to some extent this afternoon, with at least two First Team regulars unavailable.

All contracted players have been requested to be made available and therefore there can be no doubt that we will be boasting a very strong side.
