MATCH PREVIEW: GLOSSOP NORTH END V MACCLESFIELD

The Silkmen are back on the road tomorrow afternoon, as they make the journey to Surrey Street in order to take on Glossop North End.

Danny Whitaker’s side will be looking to extend their slender one-point lead at the Northern Premier League West Division side – although they do have a game in hand over second placed Runcorn Linnets.

Our hosts reside in ninth position, having accumulated fourteen points from their opening nine games.

Out of the five league contests that Glossop have played in front of their own fans, they emerged victorious on two occasions, drawn two games had suffered defeat against Hanley Town back on 27th September.

They come into the game on the back of a 2 – 0 reversal at Prescot Cables last Saturday.

TEAM NEWS

Dan Cowan is expected to be unavailable for tomorrow’s clash as he continues to recover from a knee injury, but apart from that Danny Whitaker should have a full squad at his disposal.

Tickets are available on the day, with supporters asked to arrive early to prevent the likelihood of queues forming.

The ground will not be segregated and prices are as follows –

Adults (16-65): £10.00

Concessions (65+): £6.00

Students With Valid ID Card: £6.00

U16’s: £2.00

Please note that relevant identification may need to be produced for all concessionary ticket purchases.

CAR PARKING

Car park at the ground is limited and supporters are asked to arrive early should they want to claim a space.

There is also street parking available, but please do park respectfully at all times.

BAR / REFRESHMENT FACILITIES

There will be food and refreshment areas around the ground in addition to the Clubhouse which will be open to visiting fans.

Please note, it is not permitted to bring alcohol into the ground.
