The Silkmen claimed their place in the Cheshire Senior Cup Second Round last night, courtesy of a 4 – 2 victory against Northwich Victoria.
Ashley Dunn opened the scoring for the hosts in the 26th minute, before Damola Sotona doubled their lead shortly after the interval.
Despite this, braces from Sam Grimshaw and Tom Clare saw David McNabb’s side through on a cold and wet November evening.
