David McNabb saw his Silkmen side extend their lead at the Northern Premier League West Division summit to four points last night, courtesy of a 4 – 1 win against Workington.
Neil Kengni scored the first goal of the Club’s new era in the 26th minute and this was followed by Alex Curran’s penalty right on the stroke of half-time.
Scott Allison pulled a goal back for the visitors four minutes after the interval, before two goals in two minutes from Nicky Maynard and Neil Danns settled the contest.
