CHANGES TO DISABLED AND CARER SEASON TICKET PROCESS

13 Jun 2022 | Ticket News

Macclesfield FC remains committed to offering all our disabled supporters and their carers the opportunity to watch our First Team completely free of charge.

This is something that is important to us and hope that it is well-received throughout the local community.

That being said, we have already seen this offering abused by people clearly looking to bypass paying the amount they should.

We will not stand back and allow people to fraudulently claim discounts that they are not entitled to – costing the Club money and impacting our sustainability as a whole.

Further to this, it really isn’t fair on the vast majority of our fans who have paid the correct amount to watch our team play.

Therefore, we have removed all Disabled and Carer tickets from our TicketCo portal with immediate effect.

These will be on sale from the Club Offices only, where valid identification will need to be provided.

We will be writing to everyone who has already requested a Disabled or Carer ticket before the start of the 2022/23 season, advising that proof of identification will be needed prior to any tickets being issued.
