VIDEO: PAUL McGUIRE ON CLAIMING THE UNDER-21S LEAGUE TITLE

Paul McGuire’s Under-21s side lifted the North West Under-21 Development League – Premier Division trophy this afternoon, after a very special day at the Leasing.com Stadium.

After scheduled opponents St Michaels were forced to withdraw from the planned league encounter, a team of former Under-21 players and BTEC graduates joined together in order to face the league winners.

It really did prove to be an evocative celebration of this remarkable young Silkmen side and after the game, we caught up with Paul McGuire as he looked back on an incredible season.
