The Silkmen suffered their first pre-season defeat last night, as Huddersfield Town ran out 2 – 1 winners at the Leasing.com Stadium.
Louis Lloyd opened the scoring early in the second half, before Andy Owens restored parity seconds after being introduced from the bench.
Michael Stone then settled the match with a curling 82nd minute effort that sneaked inside the far post.
