Macclesfield FC make their Isuzu FA Trophy bow this weekend as we make the trip to The Potteries to take on Hanley Town.

This Saturday’s game starts a run of five consecutive away games in all competitions with The Silkmen looking to make a mark.

Mark Duffy’s side came off the back of an FA Cup victory at home to Warrington Rylands thanks to goals from Alex Curran and John Rooney.

Hanley Town are a side we faced last season where we won 4-0 at home on Boxing Day and drew 1-1 at Potteries Park at the tail end of the season.

Town currently sit 11th in the Northern Premier League West Division and come into the game following a 3-0 home defeat to Prescot Cables.
