The Silkmen travel to Oxford City for our very first Enterprise National League North away fixture on Saturday 16th August.

Here’s all the key information Macc fans need to know ahead of this historic occasion.

The MGroup Stadium, Court Place Farm, Marston, Oxford, OX3 0NQ

About the Club – Founded – 1882, Nickname – The Hoops, Manager – Ross Jenkins, Ground – The MGroup Stadium, Capacity – 3,100, 2024/25 POS – 19th NLN

Public Transport – Oxford 2.8 miles (1hr 5min walk). Due to engineering works, there will be no trains running between Stockport and Stoke-on-Trent; therefore, no trains at all will stop at Macclesfield station. Rail replacement buses will run between Stockport and Stafford as well as from Macclesfield to Wilmslow. Once you arrive in Oxford, the number 14 local bus route will take you from the train station to close to the MGroup Stadium.

By Car – Leave the M40 at Junction 9 and take the A34 towards Oxford. Follow the A34 for seven miles until you reach the A44/A40 turn-off. Leave the A34 and at the roundabout take the ring road towards London (A40)/Oxford. At the next roundabout, take the second exit continuing along the ring road, which is now the A40 in the direction of London. Proceed along the A40 for two miles and then and then leave and take the slip road signposted Marston and Hospital. Follow the slip road around and over the A40, and this brings you onto Marsh Lane. The entrance to the stadium is just down on the left.

Arrangements – Away fans will be located in the North Stand at the MGroup Stadium. Supporters will be able to purchase on the day, however we would advise supporters to buy in advance to avoid queues at the turnstiles.

Ticket Prices –

Adult: £13 (£16), Over 65s: £10 (£13), Blue Light Workers: £10 (£13), 18-24: £5 (£8), U18: £5 (£8), U13: £3 (£5), U7: £1 (£3), U4: Free

Food and Drink – Hot and cold refreshments will be available from the various kiosks around the ground.
