We are delighted to confirm that midfielder James Edmondson has extended his loan from Blackburn Rovers until the end of the 2025/26 season.

The 20-year-old has made 27 appearances for the Club so far this season since he re-joined for a second loan spell back in September.

James has been a mainstay in the centre of midfield, having featured in every game since his second debut for the Club against Kidderminster Harriers.

Edmondson put the Silkmen back in front on their way to the Emirates FA Cup Third Round, with a stunning strike away at Slough Town in Round Two.

Great to have you back for the rest of the campaign Edo.
