It was a positive start to life in the Enterprise National League North for the Silkmen with 11 points out of a possible 18 in the month of August.
The season started off with two wins out of the first three against Worksop Town and Southport, with a narrow defeat to Oxford City sandwiched in the middle.
Frustrating points against Alfreton Town and Spennymoor Town followed before the month was rounded off with a huge win over Darlington on home soil.
