Our Trial XI, made up of academy youngsters and trialists, were back in action for a second public pre-season appearance on Saturday afternoon at the Haffners Eats Stadium, where they dispatched Colne FC, emerging victorious with two strikes being enough to cancel out a Colne equaliser.

The squad travel north once more this evening to face Barnoldswick Town in their third and final outing at the UCLAN Sports Arena, kicking off at 6:30pm
