The Silkmen were delighted to welcome exciting young full-back Hassan Ayub to the Leasing.com Stadium following a successful trial period over the summer. The 18-year-old adds depth to John Rooney’s defensive options after impressing with his pace and directness. Hassan came through the ranks as a scholar at Bradford City and has seen his development progress in the Bantams’ U18s setup. The full-back has played a major part in Bradford’s FA Youth Cup campaigns over the last two seasons, with them losing out to Premier League Crystal Palace in the previous campaign.
