Macclesfield FC can now confirm our squad numbers for the upcoming 2026/27 Enterprise National League North campaign.
With John Rooney’s team nearing completion ahead of the opening day of the season, the vast majority of the numbers have been allocated to those who have renewed from last campaign and all who have joined in off and pre-season.
There has been various changes to the list from last season, as is to be expected with some of the more prominent numbers reallocated to the newer members of the squad.
Numbers issued to new signings include the number 1 shirt being taken up by Christian Dibble, the number 3 shirt issued to Lincoln McFayden, 8 will be George Wilson, 9 will go to Adan George, 14 for Fin Shrimpton, 16 is Tom Wilson, Jon Ustabasi takes 19, with Veron Parny, Hassan Ayub and Ammar Dyer allocated 23, 24 and 25 respectively.
Those who have changed numbers from last season are Elliot Osborne, previously 24 now takes number 4, Cameron Borthwick-Jackson changes from 35 to 5, Theo Chapman is handed the number 7 shirt having previously donned 30, Josh Kay takes the vacant number 18 shirt and Brandon Lee will also take up the number 33 shirt.
Luke Matheson (2), Paul Dawson (6), Danny Elliott (10), Luke Duffy (11), Sam Heathcote (12), Luis Lacey (15) and Carlos Dos Santos (17) retain the same numbers from last season.
