Macclesfield FC are delighted to announce a new partnership with vehicle finance broker Jigsaw Finance.

The vehicle finance specialists, named in this year’s Sunday Times 100 list of Britain’s fastest-growing private companies, have agreed terms with the Silkmen to become a valued club sponsor for the upcoming 2026/27 Enterprise National League North campaign.

Founded at the turn of the millennium, Jigsaw Finance have built their reputation on a personable, hands-on service, with an experienced team that have been guiding vehicle buyers across the country for the last 26 years.

As a trusted broker, Jigsaw Finance can arrange several flexible funding options, including Personal Contract Purchase and Hire Purchase, with funding tailored to each customer’s individual needs and budget.

The business work closely with a growing list of well-known vehicle dealerships, so buyers have massive flexibility when looking for their next vehicle. From motorhomes to motorcycles, and everything in between Jigsaw Finance have got it covered.

Jigsaw Finance operate a hybrid model built on their own proprietary technology, so things move quickly and efficiently. Additionally, it’s customer-first approach means a person is involved throughout and always on hand to provide a personal service.

Jigsaw Finance have set their sights on becoming the number one motor finance broker in the country, for customers and dealers who expect proper service, clear communication and reliable outcomes. That ambition is built on experience, consistency and a commitment to doing things the right way.

Their strapline, Driven by Care, Built on Trust, is not marketing speak but a description of how the business operates. Care shows in the way the team treat every dealer and customer, and trust comes from doing what they say they will do.

Since co-owners James Weir and Alex Hurst acquired the business in 2023, Jigsaw Finance have grown at pace, opening offices in Macclesfield and Oldham and becoming a neighbour of the Club in the process.

What began as proximity has developed into a working relationship, and now an official partnership.

As part of the deal, Jigsaw will take a large advertising space on London Road, along with a pitch-side board, match day hospitality in our VIP Lounge, a permanent feature in our Sponsors Directory and monthly access to our Business Networking Events.

Delighted to get the deal over the line, senior leaders at both organisations had the following comments:

Jigsaw Finance’s Managing Director, Alex Hurst, said:

“This partnership means a lot to me on a personal level. I was a Macc Town fan growing up and have great memories of watching the Silkmen back in the 1990s and travelling to webley to see them lift the FA Trophy in 96, so becoming an official partner of the Club years later is a proud moment. Since James and I took over Jigsaw, Macclesfield has become home for the business, and there’s no side we’d rather be getting behind. We’re looking forward to getting started and supporting the Club right through the season ahead.”

Silkmen Deputy CEO Bob Trafford said:

” I would like to welcome Jigsaw Finance to the Football Club and thank them for the superb commitment that they have shown in agreeing this partnership.

“I would particularly like to thank Alex Hurst for his role in this, and look forward to seeing our relationship evolve over the course of the season.”
