We are delighted to confirm that Manager John Rooney and winger Luke Duffy have been nominated for the Enterprise National League North monthly awards for August.
An unbeaten month for the Silkmen saw John Rooney’s side win five out of their six games in August, plus a draw at Spalding United, seeing the Silkmen go unbeaten in August.
Comeback victories over Radcliffe, Brackley Town and Darlington saw the Silkmen end the month at the top of the table in an impressive start for Rooney and his coaching staff.
As for Duffy, he continued where he left off in the 2025/26 season, with an excellent start to the season.
A match-winning brace against Radcliffe, plus the winner against Brackley Town at the Leasing.com Stadium, were amongst Duffy’s highlights in a strong opening month.
Coupled with a number of assists for our number 11, sees Duffs well worthy of his nomination.
