Our International Academy is partnered with the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) to provide the perfect pathway to success on and off the field for international student athletes.
We are proud to offer all our fantastic programmes to both male and female student-athletes of all football abilities who show determination and the right mindset to improve their football skills whilst focusing on their academic studies.

This represents a unique opportunity for international players aged 16-18 who are passionate about improving their game.
The programme is specifically designed for players to enhance their development in an enjoyable, professional and inspirational setting.

University Programme
WANT TO LIVE, STUDY AND DEVELOP at the home of football?
MFC International Academy offers student-athletes from around the world the chance to combine studying and playing in a truly world class, professional environment.
Student-athletes can choose to study a range of internationally recognised degree courses, whilst training and playing as a full-time footballer.
This opportunity is offered in partnership with the internationally renowned University of Central Lancashire (UCLan)
Each of the courses are meticulously designed, promoting exemplary standards both on and off the pitch – whilst also providing both the necessary qualifications and experiences to allow you to excel within both the sport and business sectors!
FOUR Week Residency
ARE YOU looking for AN UNFORGETTABLE OPPORTUNITY TO SAMPLE LIFE AS A PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALLER?
In addition to the University Programme our International Academy also offers a bespoke two or four week Residency Programme.
This programme provides a unique opportunity to not only experience life as a professional footballer, but also to embrace a new culture and develop life skills that will set you apart from the crowd.
Whether you are coming for fun or looking to gain a tangible advantage ahead of the forthcoming season, our Residency Programme can tailored to meet your exact requirements.
Designed to be enjoyable throughout, the programme caters for all players who are passionate about improving their game!
Our Residency Programme is offered to 16-18-year-olds and is a great stepping stone towards our full-time University Programme.
SEVEN DAY COLLEGE ID CLINIC
Macclesfield FC International Academy are proud to offer a Seven Day College ID Clinic between 9th – 16th October 2022.
This provides student-athletes aged 16 – 18 with a poignant and inspiring introduction to life within our Academy structure.
The Clinic will provide a stimulating initiation into every aspect of our Academy across our two sites – the University of Central Lancashire and Macclesfield Football Club.
Embracing both academic and football provisions, the Clinic also introduces you to British culture and what it is like to study and play in England.
As such, the Clinic provides student-athletes with an incredible foundation to progress within our Academy and elicits very clear dreams in terms of what their future career can look like – both academically and within the football industry.
The Clinic is sure to be immensely popular, with a synopsis of all it entails provided below.
