The Silkmen rounded off their pre-season campaign with a 2-0 victory over FC United of Manchester at the Leasing.com Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Goals either side of the break from Adan George and Sam Heathcote were enough to ensure John Rooney’s men remained unbeaten throughout their pre-season campaign, boding well for the season ahead in which we will be aiming high.
Saturday also saw the debut of our all-new 2026/27 home kit, in collaboration with DNA, donned by the players, allowing supporters to gain a first look at the new strip.
FC United provided a physical challenge for the Silkmen, though ultimately couldn’t derail their aim to finish off pre-season in the best way possible.
Macc head to Marine AFC on the opening day of our 2026/27 Enterprise National League North season on Saturday 8th August, kicking off at 3pm.
