The Silkmen got the better of Peterborough Sports on Tuesday evening at the Leasing.com Stadium with a 3-1 win victory, courtesy of goals from D’Mani Mellor, Danny Elliott and Paul Dawson.
The best of the action images from the game are below, witnessed by 2,546 supporters, one in which the Silkmen initially went behind to a Sam McLintock well-struck volley inside five minutes, but were quick to react and equalised just before half time through D’Mani Mellor. Danny Elliott then turned the game on it’s head just after the hour mark, converting Luke Duffy’s cross. The visitors were reduced to ten and almost immediately nine men in the final five minutes, gifting Paul Dawson the opportunity to seal the deal in stoppage time.
