September brought mixed fortunes for the Silkmen, with some difficult results in the league but some positive outcomes in the Emirates FA Cup.
The Silkmen defeated Atherton Laburnum Rovers and Nantwich Town in the early rounds of the Emirates FA Cup but failed to win in the league in September.
Defeats to Merthyr Town and Chorley (in awful conditions) were the difficult results, but a 100th-minute equaliser from Danny Elliott away at Kidderminster Harriers brought some jubilant celebrations.
