A Silkmen XI head to Crewe tomorrow afternoon for our first public pre-season friendly against Northwich Victoria

Public Transport – Trains are operating on their usual regular basis from Macclesfield station tomorrow afternoon with a change required at Stoke-on-Trent for most services in order to reach Crewe. The number 38 bus is also in full service with departures at five past the hour every hour prior to kick off. Crewe FC is approximately a 10 minute car/taxi journey or 45 minute walk from both terminuses.
By Car – Head South West via the B5392, A536 or A54, crossing the M6 at either Holmes Chapel, Sandbach or Alsager and entering Crewe either from the North on the A530 or the East on the A534, eventually reaching Coppenhall Lane from the North or Victoria Avenue, merging on to West Street from either direction in the centre of Woolstanwood.
Parking – On-site parking is limited with street parking available nearby. The ground is within a residential area, so when parking, we ask supporters to be respectful of local residents at all times.
Arrangements – Entry is free for all wishing to attend tomorrow’s game, and we therefore encourage as many of the Silkmen faithful to attend as possible to support the future of Macclesfield FC.
This match is not segregated, with fans able to watch from wherever they wish within the stadium. Entry is free with unrestricted access upon admission to the ground.
Food and Drink – Hot and cold refreshments will be available for visiting supporters inside the ground.
