The Silkmen travel to the West Midlands for our penultimate pre-season friendly away at Tamworth this evening.

For those heading to the Lamb Ground, here is all the key information you need to know.

About the Club – Founded – 1933, Nickname – The Lambs, Manager – Andy Peakes, Ground – Lamb Ground, Capacity – 4,963, 2025/26 POS – 11th (NL)

Public Transport – Tamworth Railway Station is around a 10-15 minute walk away from The Lamb Ground. Sited at an intersection of two major rail lines, it is well served by trains from Birmingham New Street, Crewe and London Euston.

By Car – Head south out of Macclesfield via Congleton Road and join the M6 at Sandbach, continuing via the M6 toll as far as Weeford before heading east along the the A5 towards Tamworth. Follow the A5 bypass into the town and take the turn for the town centre on to Bitterscote Drive prior to leaving at the second exit for Riverdrive. Follow the signs towards the Snow Dome and Glascote/Amington. You should see the ground on your right after passing the Snow Dome.

Parking – There is a fair-sized car park at the ground, which costs £2 for cars, £5 for minibuses and £10 for coaches. Otherwise, street parking is available nearby.

Arrangements – Supporters are encouraged to purchase their tickets in advance online. Alternatively, tickets are available from Tamworth’s ticket office on match day for a small price increase.

This fixture is not segregated; though supporters must locate themselves in the area of the ground for which they are purchasing tickets (seating or standing).

11-15’s – £6 / £8

U10s – £4 / £6

Standing

Adults – £8 / £10

11 – 15’s – £4 / £6

U16s – FREE

*Concession tickets are open to all over 65s, full-time students and blue light card holders on the verification of ID.

*All under 14’s must be accompanied by a paying adult*
