The Silkmen make their way back up to the North East this weekend as we make the journey to The Brewery Field as they take on Spennymoor Town. Here is some of the key information you may need if you are travelling to the Moors.

Spennymoor Town – The Brewery Field, Wood Vue, Spennymoor, County Durham, DL16 6JN

About the Club – Founded – 2005, Nickname – The Moors, Interim Manager – Jason Ainsley, Ground – The Brewery Field, Capacity – 4,300, 2025/26 POS – 10th NLN

Public Transport – Durham 6.1 miles (Bus/Taxis from the station to the ground). The train journey from Macclesfield Station takes approximately 3hr 15 minutes. Durham is located six miles away from Spennymoor; the local number six bus will take you from Durham Railway Station to right outside The Brewery Field. Local taxi operators also run on the same route for a faster journey.

By Car – At Junction 56, continue forward onto the A1(M). Leave the A1(M) at Junction 60, then at the roundabout take the first exit onto the A689. At Rushyford roundabout, take the third exit onto the A167. At the next roundabout, take the third exit and continue on the A167. Thinford roundabout, take the first exit onto the A688. At the next roundabout, take the first exit and continue on the A688. At the following roundabout, take the third exit onto St Andrews Lane. Arrangements – Segregation is not expected to be in place for the game at Brewery Field. Silkmen fans will be able to either sit or stand and will be able to make use of all the facilities Spennymoor has to offer.

Car Parking – Spennymoor Town Football Club advises visiting fans not to park around the private streets surrounding The Brewery Field. Due to parking restrictions operating on a matchday, our hosts recommend making use of public transport wherever possible.

Concessions (Over 60) – £10

Under 18 – £6

Programme – A matchday programme, ‘Moors’, is available for £3 in the ground.

Coach Travel –

We have supporters coaches making the journey to the Brewery Field on Saturday.
