Macclesfield FC are excited to announce that Cameron Bradbury-Allen has agreed to remain with the Silkmen, and will join Hyde United on loan for the upcoming campaign.
The young defender emerged as a promising new talent at the Leasing.com Stadium last season having progressed from the U23 squad, overseen by Ross Speight, who personally recommended Cam to First Team Manager John Rooney, and subsequently included him in a number of his match day squads, including our infamous Emirates FA Cup ties against Slough Town and Crystal Palace.
Having not yet made his league debut for the Silkmen, Bradbury-Allen headed out on loan to Stockport Town midway through the 2025/26 season for the remainder of the campaign, and impressed for the North West Counties side, under Manager Paul Turnbull, whilst being kept watched from afar by those with a vested interest at Macclesfield, including Rooney.
Undertaking such an impressive personal development programme also saw him become a flagship name under our brand new initiative, the Emerging Talent Group, alongside fellow academy & IFG graduate Jamie Walker. This in turn, provided the perfect example to those following in Bradbury-Allen’s footsteps, that there is a golden opportunity for those coming through the youth ranks to become a senior player at Macclesfield FC, via the support of our trusted allies across the non-league pyramid.
After taking the opportunity to prove himself at step five, the centre half now has the deserved chance to step up and ply his trade in the Northern Premier League, within which he will join up with Michael Clegg’s Hyde United, who has equally been impressed by Bradbury-Allen over the last twelve months and was keen to recruit him to sturdy the ship at the back for the Tigers.
Familiar with Cam from his time with the Silkmen, Clegg knows exactly what to expect from the versatile man at the back and will turn to him in a time of need as and when required in the upcoming campaign.
Bradbury-Allen will remain at Hyde for the entirety of the 2026/27 season, with the aim of furthering his personal development and with a view to reinstate him in to the Silkmen’s side the season after next.
This will be another valuable opportunity for Cameron to gain additional game time at a senior level and better position himself to be considered for a place in Macc’s first team upon his return to the Leasing.com Stadium.
