Macclesfield FC can confirm that Cameron Bradbury-Allen has joined Stockport Town on dual registration terms.
Bradbury-Allen, who has recently featured in first team match day squads since our Emirates FA Cup Second Round tie against Slough Town, now joins forces with Stockport in search of regular game time in men’s football.
Whilst benefiting from the experience of selection in the match day squad, young Cameron, just turned 21, has yet to make an appearance for the first team in the Enterprise National League North or the Emirates FA Cup, though featured in our brief Cheshire Senior Cup run in the games against Congleton Town and Crewe Alexandra.
Manager John Rooney promoted Bradbury-Allen from the U23 side having been recommended by Manager Ross Speight, under whom Cam has impressed having played regularly.
Having made the step up to the first team, though not managed to get the desired minutes under his belt, Cameron now joins the North West Counties side to spread his wings and flourish at men’s level in order to secure some much needed experience which would put him back in contention for a starting place in the Silkmen’s first team.
Manager Paul Turnbull will take Cameron under his wing as he’ll look to get the most out of the young centre halve during his spell with Town as the Lions push for a playoff spot in the second half of the 2025/26 season under the watchful eye of John Rooney and co.
Cameron will still be eligible to feature and train with the Silkmen’s first team and U23 side during his time with Stockport and will remain a regular fixture at the Leasing.com Stadium.
Good luck, Cam!
