Over the course of the last few months, Macclesfield FC have received a number of offers for midfielder Sean Etaluku.
All of these were from higher division teams and politely declined.
Just over three weeks ago, we received a significant bid from Enterprise National League Club Forest Green Rovers.
Given the fact that Sean is currently in the last year of his contract and personally expressed his wish to leave, it was decided that it would be in the best interests of the Football Club to sanction the move in principle.
This is subject to Sean completing a successful medical, and we will provide a further update on this in due course.
