Macclesfield FC can confirm that the transfer embargo temporarily placed upon the Club has now been lifted.
Over the past 24 hours, the Club has worked diligently and collaboratively with the relevant authorities to resolve the matter swiftly and ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements. We are pleased that this has now been concluded.
The Club would like to place on record its sincere thanks to both the FA and the National League for their support, guidance and professionalism throughout this process.
We remain fully focused on our ultimate goal of promotion to the Enterprise National League, supported by a final addition of the season to John Rooney’s squad, to be announced in due course.
