Macclesfield FC are delighted to announce the signing of striker Danny Elliott following his departure from Scunthorpe United.

The 28-year-old becomes our fourth addition this summer following the arrivals of Justin Johnson, Danny Whitehead, and Elliott Whitehouse.

Elliott made 40 appearances in all competitions last season for The Iron racking up 13 goals in the process on their way to the playoffs.

The 6ft signed for Hartlepool United in 2021, going on to achieve promotion to the Football League via the play offs under current Stockport manager Dave Challinor.

The following season he signed for Boston United where he was later named player of the season in 2022.

Everyone at Macclesfield FC would like to wish Danny well at the Leasing.com Stadium.
