Macclesfield FC are delighted to announce the signing of goalkeeper Christian Dibble following his departure from Kidderminster Harriers.

The shot-stopper joins the Silkmen off the back of promotion with the Harriers to the Enterprise National League via a play-off final victory against South Shields, with the aspirations of repeating the same success in our 2026/27 campaign.

Dibble, previously of Wrexham, has an impressive reputation for clean sheets and subsequent success, including a promotion push with the Club led by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney back in the 2021/22 National League season as the Red Dragons’ longest-serving player before he was recruited by Phil Brown for Kiddy in 2023.

Christian initially joined on a twelve-month deal before extending his stay with the Worcestershire outfit for a further two seasons, having impressed in his inaugural season in which the Harriers achieved promotion to the National League.

Despite their best efforts, including 15 clean sheets kept by their new number one, Kidderminster were relegated back to the National League North ahead of the 2024/25 season, in which he went on to keep a further 23 clean sheets, reaching the semi-finals of the play-offs having finished third.

Dibble went one better in the most recent 2025/26 season under new Manager Adam Murray, also finishing third but this time achieving promotion back to the top tier of non-league football with a 2-0 victory over South Shields in the play-off final following a 3-1 victory over the Silkmen in the semi-finals. Christian was also awarded the Enterprise National League North golden glove in the process of achieving promotion with a further 17 clean sheets in 39 appearances for the Harriers.

The 32 year-old now becomes the Silkmen’s new number one following the departure of Max Dearnley, and Rogan Ravenhill’s return to parent Club Barnsley. Hailed as the ‘best ‘keeper in the league’ by the many, Macc are delighted to have attained the services of the experienced shot-stopper ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.

Everyone at Macclesfield FC are delighted to have Christian on board for our second season in the Enterprise National League North and wish him well between the posts for the Silkmen!
