Macclesfield FC are delighted to announce the addition of defender Muhamed Diomande on a short-term deal.
The 20 year old joins the Silkmen following a spell with Worcester City in the Southern Premier League Central, where he also helped the Club reach the FA Cup First Round.
Muhamed may be a face that Silkmen supporters will recognise, as he spent a lot of time with the Club during Pre-Season this summer, operating primarily as a centre-back.
The defender first came through the ranks at Wolverhampton Wanderers, progressing through to their U18 setup and featuring heavily in the U18 Premier League.
He spent two seasons in Wolves’ Academy before making the switch across the Black Country to sign for West Brom’s U21s.
Diomande would play a key role for the Baggies in their Premier League 2 campaign and would go on to captain the side in his final season in the Academy.
Muhamed has also played a part in the National League Cup over the last two seasons, once again captaining the side in the competition.
Join us in wishing Muhamed a warm welcome to the Leasing.com Stadium.
Deal subject to FA and National League approval.
