Macclesfield FC are delighted to announce the signing of forward Dontai Gabidon from FC United of Manchester for an undisclosed fee.

The 23-year-old joins us from FC United and becomes the latest addition to Robbie Savage’s side subject to FA and league approval.

A player that Robbie has admired for a while, Gabidon fits the profile of Macclesfield Football Club with his desire and hunger to succeed.

Dontai has made 75 appearances for The Reds scoring on 19 occasions during his time at Broadhurst Park and has great experience in the Northern Premier League.

Having excelled during his time at West Didsbury & Chorlton, Dontai became a focal figure at United since he joined in the 2022/23 season becoming a regular starter.

The pacey forward adds great quality to our attacking options and is an exciting addition to our squad.

We would like to wish Dontai a warm welcome to the Leasing.com Stadium and wish him every success in a Macclesfield shirt.

New signing Dontai Gabidon is proudly sponsored by Barbara Newman.
