DREW BAKER SIGNS FOR THE SILKMEN

Macclesfield FC are pleased to have agreed terms to the signing of defender Drew Baker from Fleetwood Town. 

Baker was an ever-present at FC United of Manchester back in 2021/22 which earned him a move to The Cod Army in January 2022.

The 21-year-old earnt his Fleetwood debut against Everton in the Carabao Cup in a 1-0 defeat.

Drew started at Manchester City’s Academy before moving on for spells with Crewe Alexandra and Oldham Athletic in their academies.

Baker has had spells in the last year at Bohemians and Waterford in the League of Ireland to further his experience.

Everyone at Macclesfield FC would like to wish Drew every success whilst at the club.
