It was another successful weekend for some of our Academy players who gained minutes for their respected Dual Registered sides.
Sam Elliott and Kerr Dollochin both made their first starts for Winsford United as they defeated Romulus in the Midland Football League.
Elliott played 65 minutes, and Dollochin played just shy of a full 90 minutes as both played key roles in picking up a clean sheet and a valuable three points.
Jayden Kirk featured for his new club, Newcastle Town, who are under the stewardship of former Silkmen coach Neil Baker, as they secured a vital 1-0 victory away at Wythenshawe Town.
