ELLIOTT EXTENDS SPORTS STAY

Macclesfield FC can confirm that Elliott Whitehouse’s loan spell with Peterborough Sports has been extended to the end of the 2025/26 season.

Whitehouse was originally loaned to fellow Enterprise National League North side Peterborough Sports at the beginning of the 2025/26 season for the first half of the campaign, which has now been extended having made a positive impression.

Turbines manager Phil Brown has been impressed with Elliott during his initial spell with the Club, featuring regularly in his Sports side, and expressed his wishes to keep hold of Whitehouse for the remainder of the campaign, agreed to by John Rooney.

Originally signed by the Silkmen in the summer of 2024 from Chester, though not a regular fixture in our record-breaking season in the Northern Premier League, Whitehouse’s stint with Sports now provides the central midfielder an opportunity to be a starter week in, week out at the same competitive level.

Everyone at Macclesfield FC would like to wish Elliott the very best of luck during his extended spell at Pims Park and look forward to him returning to the Leasing.com Stadium at the end of the season following what we hope will continue to be a successful stint with the Turbines

Good luck, Elliott!
