Macclesfield FC are delighted to announce that Danny Elliott has signed a new contract with the Club, extending his stay with the Silkmen until the end of the 2027/2028 season!
The prolific striker, who has recently become the Club’s all-time leading goalscorer, agreed terms earlier this week to secure his services for another two years beyond the end of his existing deal which expires at the end of this season.
Elliott played a pivotal role in last year’s record breaking season in the Northern Premier League, notching a benchmark 35 of the 109 goals scored by the Club throughout the campaign,
Danny has continued his impressive form in front of goal this season, recording 11 goals in 20 appearances and counting, making him the Club’s leading goalscorer once again, and 9th in the current league standings.
The 30 year old, now considered a senior member of the squad, has been exemplary in his attitude towards life with the Silkmen, both on and off the pitch and has been a role model for many of the younger players whose development he is partially responsible for.
Danny is a respected figure throughout the Club and in the dressing room and his new deal is deserved recognition for his extensive contributions to Macclesfield FC.
