Macclesfield FC are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Elliott Whitehouse following the midfielder’s departure from Chester FC.

The 30-year-old midfielder becomes our second signing of the summer and adds great quality to Michael Clegg’s midfield options.

He made over 40 appearances last campaign in the National League North scoring nine times from the centre of midfield.

The midfielder has had a number of spells in the Football League most notably Lincoln City making over 60 appearances for The Imps.

Whitehouse has had spells in the National League with Scunthorpe United before having spells with Spennymoor Town and Chester most recently.

Back in 2016, Whitehouse received a call-up for England C where he was on the scoresheet against Estonia.

Everyone at the club would like to wish Elliott every success during his time at the club.
