Macclesfield FC are delighted to announce the signing of forward Ethan McLeod.

The 21-year-old becomes the Silkmen’s third addition of the summer following the arrivals of Isaac Buckley-Ricketts and Josef Yarney.

McLeod was one of a number of trialists involved in Saturday’s friendly against Mansfield Town and caught the eye of manager John Rooney.

The pacey, direct forward played the first 45 minutes in Saturday’s scorching heat and provided a constant outlet in forward areas.

He rose through the ranks at Wolverhampton Wanderers, spending 10 years in the Premier League Club’s Academy.

The forward gained his first taste of senior football at Alvechurch in the Southern Premier Central on loan from Wolves.

McLeod completed a short-term deal with Rushall Olympic following his departure from Molineux, before then going on to Stourbridge.

Join us in wishing Ethan a warm welcome to the Leasing.com Stadium.

Ethan is proudly sponsored by Emblazed for the 2025/26 season.
