The Silkmen are back in Emirates FA Cup action at the Leasing.com Stadium as we welcome divisional rivals Scarborough Athletic.
Our journey in the competition last season was one that will be remembered for decades to come, but attention turns back to this season’s competition as we look to book our spot the next qualifying round.
Tomorrow’s opponents, Scarborough, are a side that we know a lot about, but John Rooney’s side can take a lot of confidence in the way they played with 10 men in the 0-0 draw at the start of last month.
It’s set to be a close battle between two well-drilled sides, as Jonathan Greening will be bringing his Seadogs to Cheshire, looking to regain a bit of form with their only victory in September coming in the previous round against Dunston UTS.
