Macclesfield FC can confirm that four academy proteges have agreed temporary deals away from the Leasing.com Stadium, all of which on dual registration terms.

The respective moves are as follows:

Fin Foote and Aaron Grewal – Barnton AFC (North West Counties Football League Southern Division)

Nathan Brown – Foley Meir (North West Counties Football League Southern Division)

David Kosatik – Stone Old Alleynians (Midlands Premier League)

The deals have been done having each impressed for the Silkmen’s U23 side, and in Fin, Nathan and David’s case, the U18’s team too, within which they reached the First Round Proper of the FA Youth Cup for the first time.

This follows the completion of Harry Motley’s move to Congleton Town last week, who also caught the eye for both U18 & U23 Macc sides.

The young lads depart temporarily in search of regular men’s football in order to progress their careers further beyond academy football.

Macclesfield U23’s Head Coach Ross Speight explained the purpose behind the moves having agreed to them:

“We are delighted that Harry, Fin, Aaron, Nathan and David have been deservedly been given the opportunity to showcase their ability at a senior level, and develop as people in an older environment, which we hope will allow them to naturally mature over time.

We are also very grateful to each of the Club’s who have signed the boys on a short-term basis, and hope that the moves are equally as beneficial to the teams as it is to the players themselves.

We hope that their experiences will be extremely valuable to each player and they return to the Leasing.com Stadium as better people and players”

Good luck, lads!
