Former players from across the generations have been in contact with us, all of whom retain a massive affinity towards the Club and are eager to get back involved.

Currently, membership stands at 54 former players, which is an incredible achievement at this very early stage.

The Former Players Association has been created with a number of very clear objectives.

These being –

We are planning to hold a very special event at the Leasing.com Stadium to formally launch the Former Players Association, and will provide details about this in due course.

Membership is available to anyone who has made one or more First Team appearances for Macclesfield Town or Macclesfield FC.

Membership is also available to anyone who has managed The Silkmen for one or more competitive games.

Additionally, Associate Membership is available to anyone who has been contracted to the Club or held a First Team Coaching role.

This is also extended to family members of those who are sadly no longer with us to ensure that their legacy is honoured.

For all membership enquiries, please email bob@macclesfieldfc.com and we will process your request within 48 hours.

Non-playing associate members may be needed to fulfil administrative roles as the Former Players Association evolves, so please do let us know if you would like to be involved in this.

Everyone at Macclesfield FC is excited by the creation of the Former Players Association, as we respect our past, celebrate our present, and shape our future.
