We are delighted to announce the appointment of Francis Jeffers as our new Assistant Manager.

Francis adds a wealth of knowledge to our backroom team and will be a huge asset to John Rooney and his staff.

Having had an illustrious playing career spanning over 15 years, Jeffers made the step into coaching after leaving Accrington Stanley.

He started his coaching career at Everton voluntarily before joining the Club’s U23s as a coach working alongside David Unsworth.

Jeffers then went on to join Paul Cook’s backroom team at Ipswich Town before departing in late 2021.

He would then reunite with Unsworth at Oldham Athletic as First Team Coach before going on to oversee the Club’s B Team.

Join us in welcoming Francis to the Leasing.com Stadium, and we wish him well in his new role.
