Macclesfield FC can confirm that forward James Gale has departed the Leasing.com Stadium, following the expiration of his contract.
The 24-year-old made 25 appearances in all competitions last season for the Silkmen, providing eight goals along the way, including a memorable brace away at Darlington in March.
Gale has agreed terms with Enterprise National League side Scunthorpe United, and officially becomes an Iron following the expiry of his contract yesterday.
