Macclesfield FC are delighted to announce the addition of goalkeeper Oliver Riva.
The 6’6″ shot stopper adds to our goalkeeping ranks and provides good competition to Christian Dibble in the Silkmen net.
Riva originally came through the ranks at Accrington Stanley, where he spent a number of years in the Academy at the Wham Stadium.
He swapped Lancashire for Yorkshire at the start of the 2024/25 season as he joined Huddersfield Town’s B Team setup.
Riva got a taste of senior football with both Keighley Town and also with Mickleover FC towards the end of that season.
He then spent all of last season with Eccleshill United in the North East Counties League as he furthered his senior career.
