In paying tribute to Luke Duffy’s three years with the Silkmen, we’ve compiled a gallery of the best photos of our number eleven during his time at the Leasing.com Stadium.
Duffy helped us to reach the play-off final in his first season with the Club, though narrowly missed out on promotion to the National League North after defeat to Marine at the final hurdle.
The following season, the winger helped Macc go all the way, taking the Northern Premier League by storm with a record-breaking season, totalling 109 points and scoring 109 goals along the way.
In his third season with the Silkmen, it was a similar story to that of Duffy’s first at the Leasing.com Stadium, coming up just short of promotion to the top flight of non-league football following defeat to Kidderminster Harriers in the play-off semi final.
Luke now enters his fourth campaign with Macc, beginning in the best possible fashion with victory against old foes Marine on the opening day last Saturday.
