JUNIOR ACADEMY FOCUS – UNDER 10 GIRLS

Our next Junior Academy focus comes from our Under 10 Girls side who won their game at the weekend.

The game’s main objectives were to make sure they looked after the ball in possession and were locking on goal side.

Despite going behind earlier, the girls bounced back quickly with a well-worked team goal.

One of the aims of the opposition was to look long, and at times, Macc fell into the trap instead of keeping possession.

After going into half-time, the girls were still falling into the opposition’s trap with long balls.

The girls unfortunately fell behind in the second half, but managed to get back into the game with a fantastic solo run and finish.

Macc had several chances in the second half and eventually found a deserved winner.

The opposition threw everything at it in the last five minutes but the girls defended really well.
