JUNIOR ACADEMY FOCUS: UNDER 10 SELECT

Our next academy focus this week is with our Under 10 Select side who won against Bollington United. 

One of the main aims of training in the week was pressing high up the pitch.

Despite going behind, the side managed to bounce back well eventually taking the lead at half time.

Despite being put under pressure, the young Silkmen defended very well with some great recovery runs.

It was a strong comeback in the first half, particularly after going behind early on.

Early in the second half, Macc were getting joy in wide areas being positive and looking to go 1v1.

There were strong areas in possession with calmness on the ball and searching for the right pass.

The main strengths from the game was calmness in possession and being composed in front of goal.
